Heehee went out with LY and A to butter last friday.

Had funfunfun! Loveee LY's dress! :) Pretty!

Dancing in flats is somehow more painful!! & everyone seemed like giants!

Then I got really sick. -.- Slept the whole Sunday away INCLUDING REUNION STEAMBOAT :'(

Cny day 2 went to LY's openhouse yay! :D:D It's becoming an annual thaanngg.

Met E, B, CH and a lotta other peopleee :)

It's been a fun filled week!

Got a new car. Suzuki sx4. There's a piccy of our first drive!

I shall stick the triangle plates on soon, it's quite nice to drive actually. Milo always comes for rides.

The other night this ginormous hamper came! Full of goodies!! :D:D

Yesterday went out with HL, he needed more clothes.

Shopping with him it the worst, I have to choose clothes for him to try.

And he's superrrr picky!! LY came later. She convinced him to deviate from black/blue/white.

She also made me try this monster bowl of milk tea. Quite nice. I like the bowl :D

Went to butter with A and LY after that. Tried these beef+cheese sliders in overeasy!! SSOOO YYUUMMM!! New preclubbing snack! Yummmmmmmmmmm

Fun night fun night fun night! I wore flats and there were sooooo many tall boys! Like a whole head taller! I felt so miniature :) Music was good, girls night out <3

We've left the Hilton and checked into the Sonesta St George.

Damn ship has no wifi :( US$8 an hour pfft

Karnak temple: the ram avenue was amazing! And most of the rams were borderline intact! :o

They built the huge walls with mud-brick ramps.

The obelisk was carved from one huge chunk of granite and raised with manpower :o

Climbing on the ruins was very fun. Lucky the walls are so high that no one saw what we were doing :P

Luxor temple: I like the sphinx avenue much more.

They're still excavating it, hopefully there'll be a long lane of 3km connecting Karnak and Luxor temple.

Our guide made us walk like Egyptians on one of the ruins hahaha! Some random guy tried to push me off :o

Found out how papyrus is made.

The plant is holy because the stem is in the shape of a pyramid and the flower looks like rays from the sun.

So they cut off the green outer. Then whack and squeeze (with a rolling pin) water out of the white inner bits.

Soak the white stuff for 7 days for a white colour and 2 weeks for brown.

They layer the pieces horizontally then vertically to create a crisscross pattern, squishing them in-between two rocks after.

I bought an anubis with my name next to it :D Total anubis love :P

The ship's making it's way from Luxor to Edfu now.

We got caught in a sand pile and I almost fell down on impact :P (lots of grabbing jie and screeching)

Lunches and dinners here aren't too bad. But I'm craving milo sigh

We've been lying out on the sundeck every afternoon. :) Quite relaxing

We visited the valley of the kings, queen hatshepsut's (hat-cheap-suit) temple and the valley of the queens.

It's amazing how the hieroglyphics and other drawings in the tombs are still coloured!

The detailing like feathers on a bird or scales of a snake is :o

The ship had to go through locks because the Nile goes downwards. (jie didn't understand this for like 3 minutes)

When we went into the lock and these Egyptians wouldn't stop shouting at us, trying to sell scarfs and stuff for 1 Egyptian Pound or whatever. They would throw it onto the boat and I don't think everyone should have thrown it back. Once we stopped throwing them back, they got very silent. :P

The water level in the lock kept increasing to match the one outside.. Felt quite strange lifting up and up, but fun!! :D

The disco lights on the dance floor was lit up last night teehee!

Jie and I went dancing AND THE PEOPLE BLASTED THE MUSIC FOR US!

There really were only two of us dancing though :s

Visited Edfu temple this morning. Goodness it's bigggg!!! Dedicated to the god Horus.

The hieroglyphics were either carved so they were 3D or inwards.

If there was a door, where it swing towards the wall the hieroglyphics were inwards so they won't get smushed :o

AMAZINGGG!! How did they think so carefully!

The figures were soooo detailed! Toes, knees and belly buttons were all very clear.

Then we sailed to Kom Ombo and visited the temple there. It was 6 o'clock and daaarrrkkk out.

But the temple was lit up and that really showed off the 3D hieroglyphics.

The temple was built for a Greek pharaoh (Ptolemy) to worship the god.

The Egyptians didn't like him. They carved him with one flat foot so that wherever he walked in Egypt, he'd feel pain. They also made his hands go all the way to his knees and his fingers like bananas. His bum was also shaped weird.

Rx which is the shorthand for treatment is derived from the eye of Horus (protection)

The ancient Egyptians used similar surgical and medical instruments as shown in the hieroglyphics (scalpels, stethoscopes and gauze ):o

They also built their walls with wooden joints so that the walls could move and be more flexible, to handle earthquakes.

The ankh in the pharaoh's hand indicates eternal life and in the god's hand allows them to give life.

3 seasons: drought, flood and cultivation. Shown by the three lionesses. :P

Doors from the outer to the inner temple get smaller and the floor rises. Because the god is waiting for you where the sky meets the earth.

It's our last night on the cruise. :) Hopefully Movenpick hotel will have wifi.

We're in Aswan now, where our tour guide lives. Passed his children's clothes shop called Bonbon heehee

Visited the High Dam which is the second biggest in the world, after one in Brazil.

Then went to Philae Temple. It took 700 years to build and 8 years to move (from an island which is covered with water)

We had to take this little motorboat to the new island it's on, I felt fearful because the boat didn't look safe at all and everyone else had lifejackets :s

Philae Temple was built for the goddess Isis - mother of Horus.

Our guide decided to put jie on his shoulders for a "funky picture". Lots of laughing and looking very unstable :P

I really like the 3D hieroglyphics, they're much harder to do compared to the carved in ones.

Last stop, the unfinished obelisk. A granite quarry where they made the obelisks.

The ancient Egyptians would cut holes in the piece of granite with a rock that's 8x stronger than granite. (I lifted it and almost dropped it on my foot, deceptively light!!) The holes would be filled with wood which expands with water thereby cracking the granite along the line where they put the pegs in :o AMAZING!

I almost fell down 2 times -.- failure.

When we were trying to leave the High Dam, our bus driver had a fight with the soldier there.

Soldiers seem to wear skintight pants in this country. Mummy was going on about how they'd rip when they squat or do soldiery stuff :P

Anywayyy the fight was trivial but they were shouting at each other with no personal space.

There was this one guy in a blue sweater CUTTING HIS NAILS while listening to the fight. Where the fight moved, he'd follow. When he finished cutting, he started filing!!! :o

I want to carry a little nail clipper around from now on and whip it out during fights so I can cut my nails nonchalantly too!! :P

Went on a felucca ride around the river Nile. Quite interesting but it's took 2 hours!!

Met our guide's daughter, she's very pretty. Big eyes with long eyelashes.

We went to Abu Simbil today. Flew there from Aswan, took 30min! :) (but the plane was delayed)

Visited 2 temples built by Ramses II. The first one (Abu Simbil temple) was enormousssss! :o Carved out of a big block of sandstone.

They also moved these temples because the water was threatening to flood in the original location.

I watched parts of a documentary on how they moved the temples. They sawed the statues and stuff into manageable pieces! They also packed the front of the temple with sand to keep it intact. :\

Anywayyyy the statues in front of Abu Simbil temple shows Ramses II growing older as his smile gets smaller and his forehead wider. Most of the scenes inside the temple depict him fighting.

The most amazing thing about that temple is that it was built so that light would shine in 2 days of the year, Ramses II birthday and his coronation date. Oct&Feb 21 which changed the 22nd because when they moved the temple upwards and deeper in, the light changed.. So the light would only shine into the temple lighting up the statues of Amun-Ra, Ramses II and another god. It's crazy that the ancient Egyptians were able to capture the light at 1600BC! :o

The second temple was built for his wife, Nefertari. But there were very few statues and pictures of her, so it really was just another temple for him.

Jie got her head wrapped in Nubian style while we were browsing the shops :P

We're back in Aswan now at the Movenpick hotel. I truly expected free Movenpick ice-cream, but no.. And our room is superrrr cold! Aaaahhhhh

Also there is no free wifi and it's separated from the city. The hotel's on an island and we have to motorboat to the city -.-

It's been a long day :(

Woke up at 4.30am to catch a flight to Cairo. Delayed as usual.

Cairo is FULL of mosques!! One after another. And they all shout their prayers individually. :o

Visited a Coptic Christian church, the cross is different. It's 3-dimensional!

This area in Cairo contained a Christian church, synagogue and a mosque. So surprising!!

After that, we went to a souk but it was too early and most of the shops were closed. Less harassment whoo!

Henna here is different. It's superrrr dark! Almost black on the skin, apparently there are different kinds (red brown black).

Some people carried a whole tray of bread around the souk! ONE CARRIED IT ON HIS HEAD WHILE RIDING A BICYCLE :O

We went to a guy-who-we-met-on-the-cruise's house. It was in new cairo and ginormousss!!

The family were so hospitable and the wife cooked really nice Egyptian food :D

Flight to Amman, Jordan. Didn't get met by the guide for like 30-45minutes damn.

Staying at a hotel with free wifi whoooppeeee! :D Too bad our room is incredibly warm and daddy won't let us sleep with the window open cos "someone might come in and steal"

3 hour drive to Petra tomorrow. :(

Ok we basically spent all day in the car sighhh.

First we went to Kerak castle which was 1.5 hours. It was sooooo cold and windy!!!!!

I liked the corridors in the castle which were very wide and big :D

There were arrow slits where archers could easily aim and shoot but the enemy would find very difficult to aim at.

Kerak castle was enorrrmousss! And built from stones collected from everywhere, like Greek and Roman temples

Then we drove 3 hours to the Wadi Rum (desert). Scenery on the way there was barren and studded with camels, goats and sheep :P

One famous rock was called the 7 pillars of wisdom. From where we were, I could only see 4.

We went for a drive around the desert. Attempted to climb a sand dune but jie got tired by the first bush.

Our guide kept urging me to climb to the top and roll down. (first remove anything from your pockets)

The sand was red there because of the iron. But very soft! Like the beach :)

Saw carvings in the rock which were done 3000 years ago. Depicting camels, ostriches and archers.

The rock we sat on had glimmers of purple and pink, where manganese reacted with it :o Veryyyy pretty!

Another 1.5 hours to Petra. Stopped to watch the sunset, but got bored so moved on :P

The moon here is soooo big and bright! I find it creepy.

We're staying in the Marriott and there's no free wifi. Pfft

It's much colder here compared to Egypt. And tmw we're walking 16.5km aaaahhhhhh :/

WHHHOOOOOO WE MADE THE 16.5KM!!! :D:D:D:D ALL OF US WHOOOOOPPEEEE

It was freeeezing in the morning!! FREEEEZING! Jie had to buy a beanie cos she was so cold -.-

Petra is a city lost for about 1800 years. Built in 6th century BC by Nabataean arabs and everything there was carved out of sandstone.

Started off with sandstone tombs, they got more elaborate along the way.

The one I liked the best had four obelisks :)

Our guide wore this scarf thingy that looked quite terrorist-like hahaha!

The rocks were colored differently red, yellow, purple. Sooooo pretty. Love it! :)

One of the rocks looked like an elephant and it was naturally formed! Cool

Treasury (something shown in Indiana Jones) was very impressive. Carved from the top down, evidence of scaffolding on the side. There were many camels hanging about nearby :P

We then climbed to the royal tombs. Mummy took a picture of the Bedouin police, he put down his cup of tea first heehee

Had to climb around a lot and it was quite rocky and steep. Lots of concentration needed!

Then we climbed up 800 stairs to the monastery. Soooo tiresome. Thighs of steel after this!!

Jie and I heaved ourselves onto the doorway of the monastery. Quite proud of myself for finding a foot hole :)

Daddy had to come and help us down though, but he scratched me :s

Climbing down was easier and we took more pictures. Mummy fell once and dropped my camera sigh

Tried this reaaaally nice dessert when we got down! Um Ali. Kinda like bread and butter pudding yummy!

Got a free horse ride back. Heehee my horse was super lazy and this man kept scolding it from behind me :/

2012, last year of my teens

Happy New Year everybody! I'm a teenager for one last yearrr!!! :(

Luxury is derived from Luxor. :P

We visited ruins today, the weather was awesome. Super blue sky.

The east of the Nile is for life because the sun rises from the east. And the west for death.

Deir al-Madina: The tombs were amazinggg, the colours are still intact.

Cannot believe the detail!

Habu Temple: Suchhh a biggg place! And the carvings were so deep!

Ankh: the key of life. (we're standing under it smilinggg)

The scale of the statues was incredible! I'm like a little speck next to it!

To count the number of people they killed, they counted the hands!! :o

Scarab: sign of love :o (the mummy lied!!)

Anubis (jackal head): god of mummification

Horus (falcon head): protection

Lion: god of war

I bought an alabaster Anubis :D love it! And got a pendant with the eye of Horus.

The detailing and hand carved stone from here is amazingggg. The guy could scratch a straight line!!

Luxor is full of horse pulled carriages and donkey carts. They seem so unfazed by all traffic! :o

There are no traffic lights and the roads are the smoothest I've ever been on!

There was a towel elephant waiting for us when we got back to our room. Mummy had a swan!

We went tanning after. The sun here is quite intense and weather chilly.

Impossible to tell if I'm burning.

The bathrobe I got was apparently for males so it just engulfed me.

Arrived in Luxor this morning after 24 hours of traveling.

Stopover in Dubai and Cairo first. Felt so tired after.

Lunch was only at 2 :( But it was the yummiest veal and potato stew!!!!

Checked into the Hilton, there's only free wifi in public areas eg pool and lobby

But I found some in my mum's room! Labelled fountain hahahaa!

Went for a carriage ride around the city, one poor white horse pulled 6 of us!! :(

Had a buffet newyears'eve dinner, urk horribly unappetizing.

We watched this dance where the guy's skirt lit up and twirled nonstop for 15minutes?!

Stole the hats, decorations and the blowy thing to celebrate nye in our rooms heehee

I'm superrrr tired. But am resisting to get over jetlag aaahhh!

Went to the farm with jie this morning.

Seriously considered abandoning that choice this morning at 8am :P

Buffy's got sooooo big!!!!! Cutie!

Got to see her new pony Carsten :)

Blue looked fat in his rug teehee! So small compared to Leon and Rudy..

Then she got out Carsten, who had to have a rearing bit on the entire time And jie had to carry a stick!

She's not very proficient with the stick though.. Kinda all over the place :P

He got really excited cos another horse called.

So he was madly calling for a reaaaally long time. So vocal..

The picture of him looking dead on is just before a neigh right into my face. -.-

I think he looks amaaazzziinnnggg in the pictures when she's lunging him. So free~ (like spirit heehee)

He seemed like a very nice ride, not freaky at all.

Especially with me in the corner kicking a ball for Kosta. :D

Buffy climbed onto the wagon chair and shoved me off...... Then Kosta went for a dip in the lake and smeared himself all over me..................

Casanova was looking at me for quite awhile, so I plodded there. Then Iglet came along as well!

They're both so prettyyyyy with such nice forelocks. Kept nuzzling me :)

Queen - It's a Kinda Magic

Semester 2 has endedddd!!!! :D In a few weeks, I'll have finished year 1 of uni~

We've been having fun on stuvac.

Tried out this new hotdog stand at Sydney Westfield. Snag Stand. The chili dog is yummmooo.

Been reading the Percy Jackson books. They're really good! Baby books though, so reading quick. On the last one now (there's 5), quite climax-y. Hard to put down.

Had dinner with UCC at Speido. Snails and deconstructed tiramisu! :D

Jie won tickets to Queen - It's a Kinda Magic. She only vaguely remembers entering a competition to win it, and had forgotten about it till the tickets came in the mail. Hahahaha!

They were bad seats though, last row of mezzanine.. Since it was just a concert, suppose they were alright.

Human giraffe and his gf sat in front of us though... Grr

Quite fun! The band was from Argentina, heehee. Their pronunciation was kinda weird.

During intermission, I really wanted icecream but was too lazy to get one. But the person came and I got a chocolate cornetto!!!!! <3 Whoopie! It was actually really yummy as well!

Looking forward to the rest of the weeekkkk! Yumcha tmw! :D

TGIF! :P Went to Queenscliff this afternoon.

Had lunch at Cafe Splat <3 Best french toast and bacon with maple syrup around!!

Then went tanning, was nice and quiet.

Waves/surf was actually there, so got to watch a few surfer boys

Got a new bikini from glassons. :D Yayyyy! I like the stripes.

Sky was sooooo blue today, no clouds for miles. My nails seemed to match the sky.

Reaaaally relaxing and free parking cos the meter was outta order. Score! :)

Excited for the last week of uni! Back to immunology now ta~

Teddy Bears' Picnic 2011

Ok, trying out the new blogger. It's a bit hard to use. :/ Pictures aren't in the right order.

Volunteered at the Teddy Bears' Picnic today with my uni friends! :D

I did temporary tattoos (which are on my hands now as I type)

Quite fun! Kids are soooo adorable. This bunch of boys had tattoos up and down both their arms and all over their faces. :P Poor mum, don't know how she's gonna scrub them all off for school tomorrow.

In the beginning it wasn't too crowded, so I hopped over to the face painting section.

CW painted half a butterfly for me, don't know why it's only half. But quite glad, cos I must've scrubbed off a layer of skin trying to get the purpley-pink bits off :/

We saw stormtroopers and the parramatta eels: THE MALE ONE WAS J!!!! <3

The screaming and tackling was quite intense. :P Don't think she could really see me though..

It was such a pretty day as well, blue skys and sunny.

Tired now :S So weak I am. Love my tattoos! Nicked some as well! So I have more to last meeeeee

It's the coldest one ever, and we all huddle on the side where the a/c doesn't blast us.

Week 11 now! In a month exams'll start. And 2 weeks after that I'll be home!! :P

We tried lamb brains on her birthday.. Mushy and tasteless.

I was home for the past week.

Went to F1, lots of clubbing & swimming :)

F1 was funnnn, went to LY and fam!

Met HL, gf and fam. Just sat around padang really and watched it on the big screen.

Lots of whatsapps flying through the air as we comment on all the happenings/crashes :P

Went out clubbing with A a few times, there was some drama.

But the picture of us was a good night! BUTTER!!! <3

Swam sooo much, kept falling asleep by the pool cos of the late nights hahahhaa!

Uni was a struggle to come back to, reaaaally hard to concentrate on the first day.

And I had a presentation!! :P I think I did okay, it was peer marked. So hopefully everyone was nice.

Discovered a new app while I was home, Dragonvale!

The addiction is intense! Think I'm slightly killing the internet with my constant playing.

Really enjoying breeding my own dragons and stuff :D

To have an A&Ws hotdog again!!!

We did find an awesome hotdog joint near us recently called The Dip.

I'm falling in love with mustard :D

The hotdog bun was steamed and sooo soft. Hotdog itself was smoked or something, deee-lish!

Iceskating this morning!!

Had goulash before, which was so warm and comforting. :D

They weren't laceup skates, so we didn't feel as secure.

Rink was not rectangular, kinda awkward. The ice wasn't smooth either and there were many wet patches.

Starting out was soooooo hard :P

But in a few minutes, we were skating normally.

It was soooooo worth going out :D:D:D:D

Had drinking mousse after, which had a very interesting texture. Kinda airy.

Hellooo!

Arrived in Sydney this morning at 10ish, jie says it's the first time she's seen the sun in ages! :P

We went to the falconer for lunch, I had a croque madame. Very yummy, love mustard!

Unpacked, had a siesta and showered. Then off we went to M's.

Stopped at red rooster on the way to buy dinner, scoffed it down when I got to her place :D

Her kitties are so cute! One's really fat with biggggg eyes that plead for food. The other's black and naughty, follows you into the toilet. When jie was in, it fell in the toilet bowl. HAHAHA!

Got lost on the way to acer arena as usual, but got there in time to watch the end of the opening act. DJ Havana Brown, she was alright. Didn't even know the song was by her. Whoops.

Pitbull was really good!! He had this one signature move which involved him trusting his hips. He did it very well though.. And basically throughout his performance. He'd alternate with some salsa steps. His pants were very tight but we didn't see any sweat though his shirt was all wet. :P

Enrique was less interesting. Spent the first half prancing around the stage and inviting people onto the stage -.- Boring, sat down. He didn't even sing Hero properly. Pft

Lalala, it's been a fun week

Today it poured!!!!!!! (apparently it's pouring in Sydney too -.-)

LY and I were gonna go swimming.. We had sushi tei instead.

Then went to SPCA to play with the dogs and cats <3

We each had one cat that sat on us for half an hour. LY got very cramped after awhile :P

I just sat there and it came to lie on meeeee! Aaahhhhh!

Didn't realise how close it is.

Hopefully leaving tonight, gonna miss Milooooooooo, who's lying in my lap right now!

Went to LY's house yesterday to play kinect yayyy!

Her dog bit me, don't wanna go there again. Have a serious bruise on my leg.

We had korean for lunch then shopping.

I caught my ball of icecream from cold stone creamery!

CHIO Aachen 2011

Got back from Germany yesterday, feeling quite jetlagged (6hours behind)

Just had a driving lesson, legs are aching!

Germany was soooooo fun! First day (Monday) we went sight seeing.

The two men below symbolize people in Köln because right one is cross eyed and left is dumb looking. (not clue, didn't really get it)

And then we went to Hufenstuhl, jie tried 7 horses!!! They were all too strong.

Got tickets for CHIO Aachen 2011! Which is this biggg horse show! :D

Opening ceremony was funn! It was all Italian people who were the guests.

I loved all the carriages, especially the tiny pony one and the haflingers!

There was a marching band on horses!!! Really amazing. The drummers had the reins to their stirrups, they could ride and drum at the same timeee!!!! We had a favourite drummer, he was very flamboyant. :D

On Wednesday we drove 3 hours to Ramsbrock, and jie tried a bay chestnut stallion. AAHHH!

Cutieeeeee. And he really tries, big heart.

Last few days we went to Aachen, show food there is soooo yummyyyy

The champignons and chocolate crepes AAAHHHHH!!! MISSING IT ALREADY!

We had tickets to watch show jumping and dressage, I got to see Totilas. :D

Eventing was interesting! The water jump is just scary, but seeing it up close is amazing!

The little corners of jumps in eventing is too cool!!! Facial expressions was fun :P

I love hotels.

St Regis is funn! Very posh but still cosy.

Our rooms were ginormous and we had a pillow menu!! :P The toilets were also big!!!!

Pool wasn't as fun, it wasn't sunny there at all. But very relaxing laying out.

Tried A's white tequila which was kinda stong.. We danced around and I got very high(and red)!

LY put on my false eyelashes which were funnn! But no way I could do it myself.

S wasn't able to put in his contacts, so the three of us had to hover and put it on for him!

Spent agesss getting ready and taking pictures.

Finally decided to go to Butter, which wasn't too fun that night :(

S isn't 23 so he wasn't allowed into bump! :(:(:(

LY and I went for a bit and danced our little butts off yay!

She left early.

I don't remember much about the night, but I know I drank more than normal.

And I was very giggly and red :D Wore off by the time LY left though.

On the way back, S and A kept talking about food as I fell asleep in the cab.

The doorman was very nice to us when we walked in..

All 3 of us squished into the king size bed, A and S kept fighting over the blanket and kicking -.-

I spent ages trying to work out the lights and blinds. :P

Woke up early for brekky, brought LOTS back for S.

Then had another nap till checkout.

Chilling out in St Regis is awesomeeeeeee! Yay hotels!

Been hanging out with my girls a lot.

Had an eye test thingo and couldn't see the letter -.-

Got my provisional driving license and had my first lesson this morning at 7am!

Drove around a carpark near A's house for a bit.. Then off we went~

It's ok.. I'm not used to looking at all the mirrors and blind spots though.

Stalled a car a lot.. -.- But attempted to park when we got home. Daddy was quite impressed.

Funfunfun! I can sorta drive! :P

Jie and I went to the driving range, daddy needs a better driver sock!

Then we went to mbs to see Salvador Dali's gallery thingo, he's a total madman. :P

I like his mustache! Quite funnn.

Woke up late, to a sunny dayyyy! :D

Brunch the The Falconer, carbonara. Jie had Croque Madame and the mustard in it was yummy!! V had a veal lasagna, yummy!! Side order of shoestring fries with garlic aioli. Hung around the cafe for awhile, so funny! Serious girly bonding gossip session.

Then we took the free shuttle to the rocks to see the sunset :D

Couldn't really see it.. But fun getting blown around taking tourist shots.

Weren't that many people around even though it was a Saturday.

YAYYYYY I LOVE FEATHERDALE!!!!!! :D:D:D

We started off playing with wallabies. Bought kangaroo food and fed them!

There weren't many people when we went so ALL THE WALLABIES congregated to us!!

Strangely enough they enjoyed eating the cone.. Jie and V kept squealing when they crunched on the cone.

They're quite nice to feed, kinda freaky when you feel their teeth though.

I attempted to coax them outta the sanctuary with no food! Failed..

There was this big gray one which was reaaaally soft. Then it stopped playing with us and sniffed it's food. And didn't move from that position! So we left..

They're really sweat creatures though :)

Jie annoyed a bird in it's cage. Kept flapping its wings and squawking at her!

We spotted this cute row of birds.

Also went to ALL THE SHOWS/FEEDING!! :D:D:D Keepers there are very nice.

I LOVE DINGOSSS!!!!!!!! THEY'RE SOOOO CUTEEEEEE!

There was a mummy and daddy and 7 pups! (1 male, 6 females)

2 pups were white and the rest red. In the wild, the white ones get killed because they're easily spotted.

They could eat meat! (rabbit + calcium powder)

I thought the white ones looked like labs. :P

We went to farmland nexttttt~ Yay!

The calf moo-ed right in my face..

I also carried/caught a fluffy chicken! Gooo meeeeeeee!!!!!!

V tried to pet a sheep and taught it was going to headbutt her.

So she tried to run soo fast she kinda fell over! Heehee

There was a Tasmanian devil who ran round and round its enclosure because it knew food was coming. It got a kangaroo leg!

GOT TO SEE BILBIESSSSS!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

SOOOO CUTEEEE!!!

There were also ghost bats in their enclosure/nocturnal animal area.

They reminded me of Bartok from Anastasia. :D

We made pizza yesterday night!

Shapes like amoebas, arrows and actual circles (!!) appeared when V rolled the dough out :)

Jie tried putting an egg on hers. It turned out good! But plastic-y on the top.

Today, had an exam then went souvenir shoppinggg!

I got very drawn to the skins, plushies and magnets.

V spent her time searching for shirts and jie looked at shot glasses. :P

Wandered around town hall before coming home, and into St. Andrew's Cathedral..

Isn't as pretty as St. Mary's. But the stain glass is nice. Someone was playing the organ as well!

Had thai food before the show.

Then spent a good 15 minutes outside taking pictures.

Captial theatre was really nicely lit up! Lots of posters and reviews on the outside.

Inside there were manymanymany umbrellas hanging from the ceiling with spotlights on them.

Quite nice! :D Didn't see any products worth buying thoughhh (you could buy her umbrella, with the bird head handle!)

The seats were strangely bouncy and I had a sick kid next to me.

But it was a very enjoyable musical! There were a few new songs. I think Bert was the best.

Enjoyed the chimney sweeps tap dancing! :D

Went to the Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World with V todayyy!

Jie had uni, it was a pretty nice day.. Some rain, some sun.

The aquarium is great funnnn!!! Love the shark exhibit! :D I seem to love sharks. There are a lot of pictures of me posing with sharks..

Lego structures everywhereeee, and they were huge!

Seahorses are cute! But kinda sad cos they get pushed along by the current.. And have to wrap their tails round something so they don't drift away~

There were bigggg sharks, stingrays, turtles.. :) Quite enjoy wandering around in the tunnel/tubey thingo with all the creatures swimming around

I waved at the big turtle and it waved back!!!!! V sawww!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥

Had lunch at the Lindt cafe with jie, then went to Wildlife World!

The first exhibit was insects and that freaaked me out!!! Wayyy too many creepy crawlies!

A red ant was trying to pull a little rock up a hill, poor thing kept dropping it and in it's haste to get it back. It would get rolled over by it. :(

Then it became all reptiles, snacks & crocodiles.

I love snakes! They're so cool and deadly. Yay!!

The crocodile scares me.. It was huuuuge. And unmoving. Like waiting to pounce. Ekk!

In a corridor, there was an animation with a motion sensor.

V went through first and a crocodile snapped at her. Kinda scary!

Then onto kangaroos and wallabies!!! :D:D They're so cute and hoppy!!

Didnt enjoy the nocturnal animals, it was too dark. Couldn't see anything!!!!! :(:(

Missed out on seeing a bilby.

I LOVE CASSOWARIES!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

IT WAS INSANE!!! It would run around it's enclosure, then stop. Look around and then jolt and scare itself and start running again! It must've done that 7 times while I was standing there watching. Then it stopped so V went up close to get a picture. AND IT TRIED TO ATTACK HER THROUGH THE GLASS!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I TOOK A VIDEO YAYYYY!

It's nice that all this is indoors so there's stuff to do when it's raining.

Then we walked across the darling harbour bridge. It was superrr windy.

Amazing how a beanie keeps you warm. :)

We went to Verde for dinner. So tastyyyyyyy! YUMMMMMMMM

Loved it entirely. Don't know why we stopped going.

Started off the day with pizza and some of daddy's pasta yummy!!

Wandered around qvb with snickers gelato in hand YUM!

Bought rings and stuff at divaaaaaa, they were having an awesome sale :)

Then we went to Hyde Park, this time it was bright and not scary dark.

Actually went INTO St Mary's Cathedral :)

It's very pretty, love the stain glass. It's quite new-looking as well.

We tried to take pictures but someone saw us and apparently pointed a laser gun at V's camera.

Hahaha! The pictures turned out superrr nice though.

Jack Black came to Events for the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2!! Yayyyyy!

He's so cute and short! He was early!! So we didn't really get to see him :(

He seemed very passionate and excited about his work though, V says he has the kungfupanda belly. Heehee!

I thought it was good! I liked Rafiki. The costumes were amazinggggggggggg~

Just got back to Singapore yesterday~~

Hahahaha! Sooooo crowded, screaming hysterical girls.

A decided to go to butter factory and it was actually a really short walk!

Quite nice as well, looking out at all the lights.

Spent forever deciding if we actually wanted to club..

:P Paid cover charge for Fash, checked A's bag in, went upstairs.

Omg, deadtown. :(:(:(:( but it was about 10/11.. So we went back outside, and the lightshow was onnnn! Wasn't very impressive.. But I'm impressed with my phone camera!! Hahahaha!

So the music at Fash wasn't fab.. I stood outside Bump to compare. Bump had rnb:(:(

We chatted to the bouncer about our sad wrong choice, and he LET US INTO BUMPPPP!!!!!!!!

I've been listening to U Remind Me by Usher <3

Went to uni at 12 today? -.- And at Town Hall station, I saw a crazy lady LICK HER IPHONE to clean it!!!! Full on lick from button to top!!! Then use her scarf to clean the spit off! Safe to say I was traumatised during the entire ride to lidcombe..

And what a boring lecture I went to! 2 hours of droning on about pragmatics.. Hung around for an hour after before my screening. Hope that went well..

Came home and bought ingredients for a mushroom and potato soup. I made the dough in the morning before uni and jie manipulated the dough into knots while I was at uni. :) We make a good team! I chopped up the mushrooms and cubed the potatoes. And am superrrr proud of the product! The soup turned out greaaaat! Sooooo tasty!!! :) And I didn't pulse it too much, cos I enjoy the chunks of mushrooms. Yum! Garlic knots wasn't as successful. It was pleasant, but not impressive.

I'm sorta exhausted this week.. Not sure why. Had a couple of long days I suppose..

I forgot what a weird season autumn is!!

We had the most horrible day today, rainy and gloomy with stronggg sunlight on and off.

Dressing for that kind of weather is impossible! Lucky I spend most of my time in lectures :/ (lucky??)

Salsa got better, I'm learning to twirl with my partner. Heehee

Jie found this Bavarian place near us, she showed me the menu before salsa! So I spent the entire lesson thinking about jäger schnitzel!

And it turned out soooooo yummy!!! & there was a MOUNTAIN of button mushrooms!

Too awesome. :D:D:D

Wasn't super full after, so we made chocolate mousse! (Cos I watched Jamie Oliver making it recently and could remember what the recipe needed :P)

Isn't 'mousse' such a funny word!! It looks like mouse :D

We had to whip egg whites, egg yolks + sugar & cream!!!

That is not easy! There wasn't enough bowls!! And the chocolate was cooling down!!

Slightly hectic..

Well, the mousse is in the fridge right now, can't wait till it's ready to eat!!! Yay!

AND OMG YUMMM!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! We whipped cream just now! Well jie overwhipped it cos the recipe called for jussst whipped. Anyway, it's sooooo yummy with whipped cream! And sooo rich!! Perfect late night snack! <3

Had a nice lie out on the grass during one of my breaks with E and looked at the clouds.

Felt slightly unartistic, couldn't see too many shapes :/

We finished early today as well! Like 45 minutes early! Whoop!

Saw a double rainbow at lidecombe station. :)

Made yummy stroganoff for dinner!! I love my ear-shaped pasta!

Lalala~ Monday.. And suchhh a cold day as well!

Boring 9 hour day at uni. Tried to do my human cell worksheet..

Failed miserably. Went to the computer lab to access my notes and just chatted to JK on fb.

Learnt that a boy's mandible, tongue and lips keep growing till their 18. (girls till 16)

Met JK and E at railway square.

Central actually has quite good signs.. :)

We went to Kingsford for dinner, Sinma.

It was good. Had horfan, chicken rice and sweet&sour pork.

Reasonable too!

Then off to Pappa Roti.

Where we had an amaaazing waffle!!! And this strange bun thing. Which is really nice!! :D

On the way to JK's place, while I was munching on my bun, JK HIT MY HAND AND MADE ME DROP MY BUN!!!! The freak..

He lives on a hill in a two bedroom apartment. The toilet's huuuge! :)

Woke up late today, I thought it was still early cos it was soooo dark!

So we decided to go for yumcha. Tried a new place, East Ocean.

The best thing was the lotus paste buns!! Everything else was average..

Then we visited R who has a pet duckling!!

It was bigger than expected being only 1 week old.

The feathers are also not soft!! They're kinda bristle-y.

Poos aahhhh-lot!!!!! And it's wet-kinda poo. Yuck.

It apparently eats 'duck food' and worms.

I helped him feed it medicine. I know how to force feed ducks. Hahaha!

He was absolutely useless! Flipping past documentaries on fois gras paid off today~ :P

I want to name it Sunny! But it'll go more brown-y when it grows up..

Chirps/Squeaks a lot.. And runs after R. So cute! :]

We made garlic chicken today. Such a disappointment, it wasn't garlicky!

JK and E came over just now for dessert. They had some of my sticky date pudding.

Seems as though every week they come and have some of my baked goods. :D

It's been a longggggg week.

Had a prac today, sucks going to uni at 10. The trains are all wonky.

Built little hydrocarbon, phospholipid models today :)

They're really hard to pull apart! (Note to self: Don't push it all the way in next time)

Didn't do the hard work of pulling them apart though.

I did my part by putting all the pulled apart balls and connectors back into their respective boxes ;)

We went heel hunting. Cos jie ruined her blue heels recently.

I'm liking the look of wedges. :D But I can't decide if I like the woody/cork kind or the sleek/patent-y kind.

Bcos someone bought tickets for the wrong location, George Street.

I got into my lecture just seconds before my lecturer. Score! :D

Learnt about the inspiration&expiration muscles. Poo. So much to memorise.

I think I'm building/making models of hydrocarbons and stuff during tmw's prac.

Sounds dull.. 2 hours................

Day Six: Five people who mean a lot

Krist: Cos I think my life will be so much more boring without her. She's so happy and cheerful and it always spreads to me so yay! She never fails to cheer me up and relieve me from stress most probably cos she doesn't go through the shit that I do! It feels really good to receive her emails after a long day of school ya! It's so interesting and unique that we're two total opposites but we can get along awesome! :D

This week's been hectic. Kinda tiring. Had the best sleep last night! 12 hoursss! :)

Had our first salsa lesson last tuesday. Kinda boring..

Learnt only the boring basic steps and the instructor isn't great..

I TOUCHED A HUMAN SKULL ON WEDNESDAYYYYY!

It wasn't too exciting though, Maybe built it up too much..

However, did see an elbow. Ligaments look like silicon.

Made peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake!! It was not too complicated..

It's very tasty.. Been trying to give it to EVERYONEEE. Cos it can't keep for very long.

Went to a reaaally nice cafe at Waverly on Friday.

Then went out to dinner with JK, E and N.

Dintaifungggg! Had this cute red bean dumpling.

It was filleddddddd with red bean. YUM!

Then went outtt! Home club then Ivy.

Ivy was more fun. Too bad it raaaained. But it was really cooling! :)

Weekend spent in Glebe and Chatswood.

Made scones this morning. Blueberry, chocolate and raisin.

Heeee! It was super easyyyy. But the clotted cream isn't good. Boo

Found the nicesssst pair of nude heels today in Chatswood. Too pretty!

Mmmmm, I had a good weekend..

Went to cafe Giulia on Friday. It's this cute hippy place down in Chippendale.

Jie's friend, E, came over for a sleepover :)

They went out at 1am to get a tendercrisp from Hungry Jacks. Hahaha!

Saturday breakfast was spent down at the harbour. I had a yummiest ham and cheese croissant!

Daddy came in the morning, so I went for a swim at the Hilton after he got up.

It was freeeeeezing! The pool was not heated!!

Tried out the sauna after getting goosebumps in the pool, even though I'd swam more a few laps.

It's kinda nice.. I like the calmness and silence. :)

My hair got fantastic volume!! (from the drying I suppose)

Nice look :P

Then we had Greek food for dinner! It's this little place on Market street and was a short walk.

SUPERRRR YUMMY!!!! Seafood goodness! Heehee

Daddy bought us a Ouzo to try. Tasted like licorice. Yuck.

Today we walked around Hyde Park in the morning after having lunch at the coffee club.

Went to AS's food dinner. That was nice :)

Back to the humdrum life of lectures at uni tmw~

Went out with UCC this week. :) That was fun..

Today, because it was so dark and gloomy! We went to a cafe for lunch.

I had smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel! Oh! It was soooo nice!

Gobbled it ALL up!!!!! YUMMM!!!

Jie had french toast with caramelized banana and marscapone cream.

We went to this kinda hippy place with lots of hippy people. It was very eye-opening! :P

Then we watched I am Number Four. It was good!! I loved the beagle. :D

Had dinner with JK, L, E and N! Missed them!

So fun catching up! And the Japanese food was reaaaally nice.

This weekend's been kinda busy actually..

Yesterday we went to Greenhouse by Joost, which is this restaurant that's all about recycling and making food from scratch.

It only had about 5 items on it's menu! Weird stuff like muesli and donuts..

-.- Went to a cafe for lunch instead.

This morning we went to the NSW International Student Festival 2011.

It was kinda funny, had a hotdog for lunch and listened to a band.

Sat around and watched this straaange old man dance to the music.

The atmosphere was kinda nice.. But the clouds were looming, so it was a bit unnerving.

Went to the Lindt cafe for dessert. YUMMY WAFFLE!!!!!! :D:D:D

Our pot handle's about to fall off. So we went to Victoria's Basement to buy a new pot!

Jamie Oliver by Tefal! :D Yayyyyyy! I really like it! It's cute.

Had the bessst lamb for dinner. SOOOOO SOFT!

I SURVIVED THE FIRST WEEK OF UNIVERSITYYYYYYYY!!!!

Jie and I watched Unknown last night, it was good!

Worth dragging myself out to watch it. Especially cos we didn't know anything about the movie!

I'd just seen lots of posters of it on buses :P

Got home and had a big cup of milo before bed!

Slept at 12, woke up at 11.40am. Hahahaha! What a niceeeeee sleep too!!

We decided to go to Splat cafe, which is near Manly Beach!

Driving around the little suburb was funny, we were lost.

But found the place! I had this ginormous french toast with bacon and maple syrup.

It was amazing.. And I don't normally like french toast!

Jie had poached eggs with beans and peppers. It was kinda spicy!

Then we drove to the beach, parked, and chose a spot to hang.

It was suchhhhhha nice dayyyyyy! :D:D Sunny, not a cloud in the sky..

Also very empty! So it was like we were alone on the beach.

Lay out, listened to music. I played with sand. Scrunched my toes in the sand..

Watched the surfers surf. I love the sand. Even though it got EVERYWHERE.

It was soooo relaxing just to watch it trickle through the fingers.

Jie didn't seem to feel it when I threw some at her..

Beaches are so chill. Such a nice end to my first week of uni :)

First day of universityyyyyy~

And I was late :P

Didn't hear my alarm, luckily my friend texted me at 8.20!!!!

My first lecture was at 9, missed it by half an hour or so.

I didn't miss much though, apparently it was all "here's the emergency door"

Kinda boring.. Lots of introductions.. 2 hour lectures started on the course a bit..

But I did spend 4 hours of break just hanging out

Had to buy some manuals today, my bag was like a dead weight. Yuck.

Early start tmw again, 9am. Hope I arise on time! :D

Deciding if I want to lug my grammar manual around campus till 5..

Today's the last day of summer, but it seems to be getting hotter!

Mondays aren't looking so swell. 9 to 6 days. 9 hours at school is a real bummer.

Better get to bed if I want to wake up tmw! :P

Went to Tank Friday night and Home club last night :)

Tank wasn't as fun.. Not a lot of cute boys. A lot of indians and short guys.

Danced with this guy the whole night long. Hahaha!

Then RK came and we met their friends.

One guy bought us a Jägerbomb, which turned out to be super sweet!

Sickeningly so. Gave it to the guy :]

Home was with M, more fun!

Both had queues thoughhh. It's a lot more spacious in clubs here.

I like it :) Not so squishy.

Dancing all night longggggggg~

Had a shot! Made me all warm and fuzzy :]

Last night a guy lifted me!! :P

It was super shocking but AWESOME!!!!!!!

There are lots of seats to crash in when our feet hurt.
